Terms and Conditions


Orders can be placed through our online cart and checkout system on our website.  You can also email or call us to place an order.  All orders are on a first come, first served basis.  Adding an animal to your cart does not reserve it. If multiple customers have the same animal in their cart, the animal will be reserved for the first customer to finish checkout.

All California residents will be charged 7.25% sales tax. Tax will not be charged to California customers who intend to resell animals and can provide a valid seller’s permit number for our records. Out-of-state customers are not required to pay sales tax.

All orders must be paid in full prior to shipping. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Venmo, Paypal, money orders, cashier’s checks, wire transfers, Western Union, or personal checks. Please make money orders or personal checks out to Steve Sykes. We welcome personal checks, but we will only ship once we confirm the check has cleared to our account.

 Holds and Payment Plans

Animals can be placed on hold for 7 days. You must call or email us to reserve an animal.  Holds are not available via the online cart or checkout system.  After 7 days, full payment or a partial payment through one of our two payment plan options is required.  

Terms of the 2 Payment Plan Option: 50% Deposit is due upon order. Remaining payment is due in 30 days. Deposits and partial payments are non-refundable, but can be applied to a future order. If full payment is not received within 30 days, animals will be released for sale.

Terms of the 3 Payment Plan Option: 33% Deposit is due upon order. 33% payment is due in 15 days. Remaining payment is due 30 days after original order. Deposits and partial payments are non-refundable, but can be applied to a future order. If full payment is not received within 30 days, animals will be released for sale.


We welcome wholesale orders from pet stores, resellers, or distributors. Wholesale discounts are available on some morphs. Please inquire about current availability.


After payment has been received, we will contact you to confirm the shipping date of your order. We ship on Monday through Wednesday for arrival Tuesday through Thursday. Arrival is possible on Friday or Saturday, but we may waive our live arrival guarantee. Saturday delivery costs an additional $15. 

 We typically ship all animals UPS Next Day Air. Please tell us if you have a preference for an alternate shipping carrier, or have had problems with a specific carrier in your area.

 We are located in California, and typically do not start processing orders and packing shipments until 2:30-4:30 PM Pacific Time. This is 5:30-7:30 PM Eastern Time. Once we process your order UPS will automatically generate and email you a tracking number. For our customers on the east coast of the United States, your tracking number may not arrive to your inbox until 9:00 PM Eastern Time. Tracking numbers are provided to our customers so you may check the status of your package online.

 Shipping Costs

Shipments within California are $45 per box. Shipping outside of California, within the US, is $50 per box. There is no limit on how many animals can be shipped in one box. This charge includes the cost of the box, packaging materials, and actual shipping cost.

 Delivery Requirements

We require someone to be home to sign for the package and unpack the animals ASAP. If this is not possible, we prefer to hold the shipment at your carrier’s closest hub for pick up, rather than having the package remain on the delivery truck. We can also ship the package to a work address, neighbor, or family member if that is more convenient.


We are experts at shipping reptiles all over the world. Our reptiles are shipped in styrofoam insulated cardboard boxes with heat packs or cold packs if necessary. Prior to shipping, we will check the weather at your location, and at the UPS hub, and will make sure the reptiles are packed appropriately for the weather conditions they will encounter during the trip. We reserve the right to delay shipping due to extreme weather conditions.  When it is very cold (below 20F) or snowy/icy, we may delay shipping until the weather warms up a little. We do guarantee live arrival, and we have a 30 day health guarantee. If the animal arrives dead, we will send a replacement. However, please save the body and the box to send back to us.  If you insist on shipping during extreme weather, we will package the shipment as best as possible, but will not guarantee live delivery.


Live Arrival

We guarantee live arrival as long as someone is home to sign for the package as arranged. We cannot guarantee live arrival if you miss the delivery time and your shipment either waits outside or spends the rest of the day on the delivery truck.

In the unlikely event an animal arrives dead, please contact us immediately and save the body and box to be shipped back to us. We will attempt to replace the animal, or will refund your money if a replacement is not available.


We guarantee the health of all our animals. When they leave our facility, they are healthy, eating well, and sexed properly (unless sold as unsexed). Please contact us immediately if you notice any health issues. We stand behind our animals and will be there to provide husbandry or other information you may need after the sale. Feel free to contact us anytime by phone (9 AM – 1:30 PM Pacific Time) or by email (preferred) if you need advice regarding the care or health of your animals purchased from us (beyond the information provided on our care pages).

We reserve the right to refuse a health guarantee due to improper care or husbandry.


We guarantee that all 100% hets are indeed heterozygous for the trait indicated. We do our best to disclose hets and possible hets for all genes on our website to the best of our knowledge. If you have specific project needs or questions about the genetics of our animals, please contact us.

 Your Satisfaction

We guarantee your complete satisfaction. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your shipment. If you elect to return your shipment, you will be responsible for all expenses required to properly and safely return the animals. We will gladly attempt to replace the animal or refund your money if a replacement is not available.
